THE CASSANDRA COMPLEX The Cassandra Complex

The Cassandra Complex is an influential electronic music group from the United Kingdom. The band was formed in Leeds by mastermind-singer Rodney Orpheus, Paul Dillon and Andy Booth. The threesome released their first single in 1984. Rodney later relocated to Hamburg, Germany where he was joined in 1990 by guitarist Volker Zacharias (Girls Under Glass), who has remained with the band ever since. Over the years, the Cassandra Complex sound has included elements of EBM, Industrial, Goth Rock, New Wave and Synthpop. Throughout the main part of their career, the band was signed to the Belgian label Play It Again Sam (PIAS).

The Cassandra Complex already played BIMFEST before in 2008 and now, almost 10 years later, they return to present you their absolute best-of tracks. Those who witnessed them back then on BIMFEST, or more recently on the Sinnersday Festival (Hasselt, 2016) know The Cassandra Complex is still relevant, alive and kicking!
